Report 1. Early Saturday morning

As usual there will be a few withdrawals in any rally. The biggest name to be a no-show this weekend is Pete Doughty. Due to work commitments, he has had to withdraw his entry. As the saying goes, "Work is the curse of the rallying classes". There are a few changes to the entry list that we have posted. We will change the entry list on the site as soon as we get the updated version.


The other factor that factor that will come into play for the weekend is of course the lovely weather that we get here in the lovely South east. There has been a fair wind and drizzle overnight, which after a reasonable dry spell, may put the preverbial cat among the racing pigeons. We may have had a drop or three on Thursday night to keep down the dust, but don't be supprised if the roads are a tad greasy. Also there are the wise ones out there that tell us that we are in for the tail end of Hurricane Ivan on Sunday, now that could through a twig, or even a dirty great tree in the works.
